Apse

Bleh. I knew this wouldn't turn out quite right. Can you tell that I had absolutely no idea that I was doing? I need more practice drawing/coloring starships.

My starship OC Apsis. He's the only one I've got completely designed out, so he's the only one I could draw from this angle. Of course, I've since tweaked his design a little, so there are a few inconsistencies, but I really don't care that much. I spent a fair amount of time on this; I'm not letting it just sit uselessly on my hard drive just because it's not completely accurate.
I really didn't know how to shade this. I gave it my best shot, but I just wasn't sure.
I really like the background, though. I love that bright blue color. I'm done with transparent backgrounds. I'm so sick of them, and when I can do something I like as much as this (it's just the same style as my last colored thing's background), what's the point?
By the way, 'apse' doesn't mean the same thing as 'apsis', but I call him that sometimes anyway. I don't know why.
