I wanted to do something for the Pride thing dA's doing. I chose blue, peace and harmony, because that's kind of what my experience in the LGBT+ community has given me. It took me a long time to figure out who I am. I've questioned my gender identity since I was young, and started seriously questioning it when I was around 13. I was so confused for a long time, and it was awful. It contributed to the anxiety and depression I already had, and just kind of made me hate myself. I wasn't comfortable presenting as a girl, but I knew I wasn't really a boy either. I finally heard the term 'non-binary' when I was 17/18, and realized that was the perfect term for me. I never even knew it was an option. The relief was unbelievable. I've identified as nb ever since. Earlier this year, I even came out to my family, which I never thought I would be able to do. It feels so good to finally be at peace with myself.

I've known I was gay since I was like 12. It hasn't been a big deal to me for quite a long time. But last year I went to my first ever pride parade and it was amazing! Being around so many other people like me felt great. That's harmony.

Anyway, look at all that blue lmao. The beach is my happy place. The beach at the lake near home, the beach in Northport where I used to stay, the beach in Traverse City that's become my new vacation place (going back up there in a few weeks hot damn). I love the beach. anyway i'm bored of typing i'm gonna go play overwatch.
