Digital Sketchdump

I do traditional sketchdumps all the time, but almost never digital ones, so I thought I’d fix that.

There’s so much stuff that I start and forget about, or things I finish but forget to upload. I’m sure there’s more than this that’s abandoned somewhere on my harddrive, but I don’t feel like looking for it, so here’s what I remembered off the top of my head, plus some stuff that was done to practice with my new tablet.

First is a mugshot of Carson that I lost interest in. I almost want to finish it, but that would mean shading hair, and I absolutely hate shading Carson's hair.

Next is Aaron with his son Angelo. Angie takes after his father in almost every way, right down to expressions, and I wanted to show that. Unfortunately, Aaron did not turn out nearly as well as I’d hoped and I have no idea how to draw young children (also what the HELL is that pose? What was I thinking?), so Angelo turned out badly as well. At least he has a design now.

After that is lombax!Angie because why not.

After that are Aaron's parents, Sonia and Raul (when they were younger). This was my first experiment with soft shading on the new tablet. I like the shading (this tablet makes it easier than the old one ) but I don't think the drawing itself is good enough to be uploaded on its own.

The last two are both neopet!Aaron, a Camouflage Kyrii called Aren. I sort of did my own thing with the camouflage since I only picked that color because it made me think of Aaron’s freckles. I don’t really care for the actual camouflage. To explain the second one, Kyriis only have three fingers, and if Aaron lost two fingers, he would be pissed

All characters are mine, but lombaxes as a species belong to Insomniac Games, and Kyriis belong to Neopets.
